[JRC] JST-145

Good morning to all. I just got myself a JRC JST-145 
Transceiver. So far it has performed very nicely
however, I have two questions for the forum.

#1 Is it normal that the fan goes up rapidly?

#2 Is there are any way where I can lower the speed of
the mail dial?
