[JRC] JST-245 with PSU fault

Not sure what the JST 245 problem is, could be the pwr transistors.  I have owned mine since 1995 (new) and did suffer a power supply failure in the first year or so.  It was repaired, in warranty, by Universal Radio.  There was also a noise blanker mod for the early models, which made a huge improvement in the ability of the rcvr to handle power line noise.  I have had no problems with the radio since the above mentioned repairs, which were apparently common faults with at least the early versions.

I have been very satisfied with the repair service at Universal, have used them for other repairs.
