Ben,
The only headway I have made with the TT "AM detection information
function is that it will work only when the receiver is in AM mode.
While the receiver is in AM mode, I can send the TT command (AM
dection status)to the receiver and I can see the response changing
as I send each request from TT0 to TT1 once in awhile. As far as
I can tell, the status changes when the amplitude changes on the
AM signal. It if is up there above S9 on the meter, it's TT1 and
if it's below it comes back TT0. Sending the commands TT0 or TT1
to the receiver has no effect.
If anyone has further or different information, please feel free
to make it known.
Actually, I need a definition for Envelope detection and Synchronism
detection.
