[JRC] NRD545 question,

Hi all,

I was looking thru my Operating Manual for the NRD545 hoping to find 
something new that I could use for remote.  On page 30, the last 
control command is used to change the "AM Detection information".  The 
are choices Envelope Detection or Synchronism detection.

I tried changing the detection from envelope to sysnchronism, but 
nothing happens.  when I request a status report "TT", I get back
a TT0 which means Envelope Detection.

First of all, I am not up on my detection definition.  Anyone
know what the manual is showing here?  And is this a hardwire
change in the receiver, since I can't change the status using
the command provide?
