It is interesting that the only amateur product shown on JRC Japan's
English-language website is the NRD545 receiver.

The NRD-545, and the JRL-3000F solid-state 1kW amplifier, are shown on their
Japanese-language amateur page, along with a "Historical Gallery". You can
use AltaVista/Babelfish to obtain a translation.

Since my venerable ol' JST-245 has now been assigned to the ranks of
"discontinued" equipment a few questions for everybody here on the JRC
reflector. 1) Does Universal Radio still service JRC equipment? and 2) Is
