You're exactly right, mine does the same thing. We don't have anything
in this area (SF Bay Area) on 106.0, but we've got an R&B station on
106.1. As soon as you tune it up the S-meter goes back to normal.
Weird.
By the way, this only happens in WFM mode.

about this, one of our local FM radio stations is on 106.0MHz, if I tune
the=20
receiver to it, the "S" meter reads almost full scale, not surprising,
but=20
there is no audio out, the only way to get it to produce any sounds is
to=20
tune slightly above or below the frequency, if it was only up or only
down, I=20
would suspect a LO freq. inaccuracy, but thats not it, and it is the
same on=20
all local stations, any ideas? Dave
