[Johnson] Ranger 1 keying circuit assiatance

I have a nice Ranger 1 that I acquired from a ham who has been working on it before I acquired it and the keyer chassis is hanging loose on the upper left inside of the front panel. The Ranger powers up but I don't attempt to go any further than LOOK at it.
I would like to communicate with a knowledgeable 0wner/former owner of  a Ranger with mucho experience with the Ranger keyer circuit. I acquired the Ranger from someone who was not the person who had started  the repair or modification of the Ranger. I have a owner's manual but understand  spoken personal communication much better than a written manual .
I would appreciate an email from those who could get me started with an understanding of the circuit and what the previous owner (who is unknown to me} might have been attempting to fix in the circuit. Please shoot me an email and see what I need to do  .
