Thanks Chris, another list member sent me a couple of pics that show the 
detail of what is pretty fuzzy in the manual photo. It's as you say, and 
the same basic idea I'd come up with using acorn nuts.    I guess a 
Champion gapped to .018" laying on it's side wouldn't look as classy ;-)
