[Johnson] Viking II on WARC bands?

Hello All,

I’ve been reading the Electric Radio back issues that cover audio mods for the Viking II. The author seems to imply that the only Viking II that covers the WARC bands is the rare CC model. Is anyone using a standard Viking II on 30m, 17m, or 12m ? RF mods required for any of these bands?
