[Johnson] Invader 2000 Power Switching

The simplest way is just a manual coax switch to select either the low or high output to go to your T/R relay. A little more involved but very convenient is to use a 115 volt relay with the coil fed from the switched AC via the PA filament switch. You could also mount this relay internally so you just have one external coax connection to use on the back of the Invader 2000.

With the relay, tie the common to the transmitter input of your T/R relay or switch. Then the normally closed contact goes to the exciter RF output and the normally open goes to the high power output and the choice will be made automatically when you switch the amplifier filament switch.

Hi David,
I'd use my Inv. 2000 more often if there was an easy way, I'm hoping for
an answer, too.

What methods has anyone used for a convenient method of switching
between the low and high power antenna connectors on the Invader 2000?
