I just got this report from a fellow with a Collins S-line
transmitter, and the cause of his problem may be the answer to the
Ranger problem, too.

CHECK ALL GROUND POINTS!

______
Hi Roy

I'm the guy that posted a 32S1 question about how grid current could
be achieved at the finals when the finals were disabled. You
mentioned using a AC/DC scope to trouble shoot etc.

Well, I found my problem. The old bug-a-boo, Aluminum chassis
oxidation! A ground point on a terminal strip that needed
tightening. A twist of a screwdriver and the rig is doing what it
should. All I need to do is touch up the alignment and I should be
done (I hope!).

Thanks for the help.
