[Johnson] Ranger Question

I don't know if anyone has suggested this or not, but you might check
that your meter is reading the correct current.

Insert a VOM in series with the cathode wire that runs to the Ranger's
meter and see if they're in reasonable agreement.  Could be your meter
shunt resistor has gone high in value, which would make the cathode
current read higher than it really is.  This could cause low power
out, and the tuning and loading would have little or no effect.
