   Have very recently discovered the difference between a 10pF cap and a 
.001mF cap is somewhat larger in 'practice' than in 'intention'.

   Sigh - it's hard to find on the schematic vs the rig - I changed it out 
last night and got distracted - even unclipped it this afternoon and 
tested it - it's .001, however C75 (for those of you following along in 
your books) wants to be just a few orders of magnitude less capacitance.

    Anyway, now the Grids resonate - I'll put the shields and ugly wiring 
back and see how we are, though I imagine the 'runaway' problem remains 
unchanged...


   Maybe I oughta blog this restoration....     naw, the Potential for 
Terminal Embarassment is just too great!
