There is an HC6/U type ceramic socket on the back of
the chassis. This provides 120 VAC that is switched
when the transmitter is placed in the transmit mode.
You use this voltage to provide the current to
activate a relay with a 120 VAC coil. The contacts on
the relay then key the amplifier and usually switch
the antenna between the output from the linear
amplifier when in transmit to the receiver when the
transmitter is not activated.
