[Johnson] Ranger Problem

additionally:
You do not need to neutralize the final, however out of resonance output
indicates spurious operation.
Did you listen to the signal on another receiver?  A wattmeter will respond
to ANY RF.

Check the resonant circuits with a dip-meter.

The Johnson manual details all the internal adjustments.
