[Johnson] Viking II-CDC

You guys must have different hamfests in your areas than we do here in
Florida. I used to go to every one within a couple of hundred miles. Now I
don't go unless they are within 30 miles or so and there aren't too many of
those. The annual one in Orlando is an exception.
Most of what there is is utter, absolute junk, almost new rigs, or obsolete
computers. If you are trying to find parts for building, it's a long, hard
search. I haven't seen a Collins PTO in years. I've been trying to find a
4CX600J. Not only can't I find one, no body even knows what they are.
About the only amp tubes I ever see are an occasional 4-1000 or 4-400.

You can't give Collins PTOs away at most hamfests though.
I usually see them selling in the $25 to $35 range or going
home with the guy who brought them.
