On the Relay sockets. Those things drive me nuts as I haven't come up =
with a good way to make them really safe. I've done the HC-6 crystal =
case thing with concerns. I'm currently using 14 gauge house wire, =
stripped back just enough to be fully inserted into the socket, then =
heat shrink tubing over the solder connection to the small wire going to =
the antenna relay. With the wires fully inserted, there is minimal =
exposed wire. The wires are friction retained and aren't falling out. =
It it safe? No way. Its fairly safe as long as the wires stay =
inserted. If I yank on some other wire and this connection pulls out, =
then I have a big problem. So I have to be pretty careful here.
