[Johnson] Ranger tuning/loading anomalies.

First thing I would do is make sure the knobs are positioned correctly, zero 
on the knob with a fully meshed variable capacitor.  My Viking II was way 
off and I found out the main reason for it was one of the springs which hold 
the roller down on the drum was broke and let the roller jump the end stop 
so it was out of sync' with every thing else.
