Thanks very much for the information on these resistors. I now know where to
find the resistors I need for the parasitic suppressor in my Johnson Desk.

I am surveying manufacturers of resistors.  I ran across this outfit.
They make a line of resistors that are non inductive and able to withstand
high temperatures.  Check out the Series OSP/SSP
<http://www.ebgusa.com/PDF/EBGCAT09.PDF> these might just be a good
replacement for carbon composite resistors.
You will note in this series they run all of the way to 40 watts in size.
