[Johnson] Ranger resto notes and WTB: fused plug

Unless you "just" have to be original, I would NOT put
on a fused plug. They can be dangerous although both
Heath and Johnson used them for years. I would put on
a "normal" 3-wire cord and fuse the "hot" lead only.
There is plenty of room under the chassis of the
Ranger to install a fuse holder.

If you have to have a fused plug, then look around at
a farm supply store. They are used on many electric
fence chargers and should be as cheap a place to get
one.

If you need the plug to fit the antenna changeover
relay socket, I have them available. Check the Zcomco
website that is listed at the end of this message.

All that remains now is to get a cord (with the fused
plug) and put the Ranger on test mode.

Speaking of which, does anyone have a spare fused plug
they would like to part with? I'd gladly pay or swap a
part for that plug. Let me know and thanks.
