If you go into an electrical motor rewind or repair shop that has small =
diameter nichrome wire and they will also have a low ohm ohmeter and ask =
them to cut off a length of wire measuring .202 or whatever you require, =
they probably will and may even give it to you. I would suggest aboiut =
#30 guage wire or even smaller. It's a simple trick to run an ohmeter =
aloing the wire and as the two prods go outwards, the resistance of the =
wire in between increases.
