Hi Ed

Check the 25K 5W drive pot. Check the screen voltage on the 6146, Check =
that the multi octal plug in the back is fully plugged in. It will =
probably be one of those

Good luck with my favourite transmitter.

Subject: [Johnson] Ranger II - no plate current

My trusty Ranger did great a few weeks ago on 10 meters, but just tried =
=3D
to load it tonight and no plate current. Drive current is fine. =3D
Changed out the 6146 and the 6AQ5 (clamper), and cleaned the bandswitch =
=3D
contacts but still no go. I measure about 600 volts of plate voltage.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ed, W9EJB
