[Johnson] Loss of R35 consequences?

All:

Just wanted to know what else would be the result of a loss of resistor R35 (the 20k 50 ohm w/w resistor). I did notice a few other things:

1) That resistor also feeds the clamper circuit 6AQ5 which might explain

2) Maximum I plate during a key up position! The meter literally pegged and I thought it might have been a quirk until I notice that the 6146 was beginning to glow a dull cherry red on the plates when placed in the CW position. Luckily, no damage. It operates normally on the AM position (with the exception of no modulator current).

3) I think there is also feed to the keyer circuits. I can't adjust the keyer circuit normally (and I think it is due to R35 blowing out).

Can anyone concur on this? Much thanks and 73 de Cal, N6KYR.
