[Johnson] Mutilation of otherwise very nice looking Pacemaker

Just wanted to let you know the philosophy on issues like the extra control on the Pacemaker: they don't make 'em anymore and it may be your best bet to grab a hold of it and rebuild it yourself to original specs. 
On the particular example Stu shows, I believe there have been some parted out Pacemakers (with intact front panels) that could be had or that particular panel repainted and resilkscreened. 
In the case of a Ranger 2 that I rebuilt, the whole cabinet and front panel were trashed. All I did was call up Dee Almquist and order his panels (but then again, he was setup to do that). He MIGHT be able to do a Pacemaker like he does Valiants.
IMHO, too many folks are passing the time waiting for the "correct" rig to happen while perfectly good and restorable candidates pass them by. Again, they don't make 'em anymore and with the way prices of BA's have been skyrocketing these days, the pickens are gettin' kinda slim. FWIW.
