JMHO. Unless you are looking to get a T-bolt for another EFJ item to grace your shack, you're probably better off getting a convention g-g driven amp. You will have to find a way to drive the T-bolt with a T-pad in order to get the proper drive. Otherwise, follow an easy to do ER mod on this problem. And no: turning down the drive to get good linearity out of a Ranger to drive the T-bolt on AM is usually not recommended. That's one of the annoying things about grid driven amps. FWIW. Cal, N6KYR.
