The box is not "mounted".  It goes on the cord. a foot or two out from the 
radio.  Cord (three wire) goes from radio to box.  Box has IEC ("computer") 
power connector on it and switch and ONE fuse and MOV's and rf bypass caps 
if you like.  Heavy duty computer cord goes from box to wall.

Fuse ONLY the Line wire (The Black one)
Bypass caps: one from line to neutral, and one from neutral to ground (not 
from both line and neutral to ground.)
Switch line or line and neutral as you wish (not just the neutral)

Keep in mind, the fused line cord plug can kill you.
