[Johnson] Valiant mods........more questions

I'm still running my Valiant II stock, just like I received it from the
factory over 40 years ago. In all those years I've never had any
complaints about the audio so haven't done any of the recommended mods.

Anybody know what changes, if any, were made between the Valiant I and
II (other than cosmetic of course)? I had placed my order for a Valiant
and the II arrived. Wasn't even aware there was a II, figured I'd be
getting a maroon one and was surprised at the color scheme when I
unpacked it.

Only thing I've ever replaced is the drive pot.
