As long as the resistor is 1/8 watt or smaller. Or if you need a capacitor,
as long as it's 35 volts or less, etc. etc.  :-)

Of course, that's not the fault of the person working there. I suppose the
internet (Mouser, DigiKey, etc.) ate in to their piece parts business pretty
badly, might have driven them more toward consumer junk electronics instead
of parts. Besides us few radio nuts that are left, who builds anything these
days anyway?
