Finding some of these switches once they burn out is getting to be
rather difficult.  What I did for my NCX-5, and would work fine for
Johnson gear too, is to buy one of those outlet strips for sale at the
hardware store with an integral on/off switch.  You can get them for a
few dollars. I leave the switch in the radio in the on position, and
turn it off and on with the switch on the outlet strip.  This method
does not require any mods to the radio, and is much cheaper and easier.
