Sherrill, thanks. I don't think the he had a middle name. Did not know that 
VA did not issued birth certificates before certain dates. What we are 
aiming for is to verify  his date of birth. The JMS website update shows 
July 11, 1904. Has that been verified?  Where did that info come from. I 
think all this research should be reviewed by Don Buska. He is good at 
spotting discrepancies. In my opinion, he should be the final authority.
