[JMS] How's are friends down south doing?

Well I hope all is still going well for Ronnie down in Shreveport.  I
know you're a ways up the river and shouldn't have experienced much, or
anything, in the way of damage.  Still I guess we can expect a mass
migration of people from down south seeking shelter up your way.  Hope
all is going well Ronnie.

Do we have any other JMS members down that way?

Listening to the news yesterday I heard the reports that the Police were
without communications.  What an opportunity for a solar powered ham
repeater to be dropped on one of the higher downtown buildings.  Most of
the newer ham HT's can us standard AA or AAA drycells.  So HT power
should not be a problem.  Wow, would that be a real promotion for the
effectiveness of Ham Radio to be able to assist the whole police
department with their communications. Much needed right now!

Anyhoot, that outside the JMS's purpose.  Just hope Ronnie is doing well
and plugging away at the Lambda power supply.
