[JMS] Those eBay Winners and Losers

Ronnie brought something to mind when he mentioned being crushed not
winning the eBay auction for the 90711 VFO. Was sorry to see that too
Ronnie. However, that brings up one of my methods for finding new
members for the JMS. I know many of you joined up when I noticed your
bids on Millen items in the past. It gave me the opportunity to meet
many new people who in some way had an interest in Millen or early
National. In some cases they may have only been interested in the
application of the device or part. Still most often it was a pleasure
finding out what projects, collections or interests they did have.

So when you see someone bidding on several Millen or Millen-era National
items on eBay send them an email inquiring about their interest and tell
them about yours. If they are someone who can benefit from or be of
benefit to the JMS invite them to join. Remember any member can sponsor
a new member.

Yes, I know many of those bidders may already be JMS members, but heck
at least you'll learn their eBay ID.
