May 6, is rapidly approaching! The HDXCC is doing their best to organize another amazing run of the Indiana QSO Party, but they need your help! Every year they do a great job making sure every county in Indiana has activity, but it’s a real struggle with some counties, particularly in the southern part of the state. I plan to operate portable in Harrison county. Portable and Rover operating is a lot of fun. I encourage everyone to get out and try it. Grab a battery and a rig, toss a dipole up in the trees at your local park and put your county on the air for a few hours. It’s a blast! Or just turn on the rig at home and you get to be that “wanted DX” station! If you can get on for awhile, shoot an email with your call and county to the HDXCC so they can list you on their activity map.http://www.hdxcc.org/inqp Or if you don’t have the time to look up the HDXCC, just let me know and I will forward the info up to them. 73 & have a great time!
