[InHam] Fireworks Convention Public Show, LaPorte, IN, Friday, 8/12

Some of you might remember four years ago when I sent out an email about the public show at fireworks convention when it was at LaPorte, IN. 
A group PGI ( Pyrotechnic Guild International) has a week long convention every year which is sort of like the Hamvention for fireworks. PGI is comprised of both fireworks hobbyists and those in fireworks as a profession or business. 
On the last night of the convention there is a public show and I can only describe it as amazing. It's two hours of the most intense & interesting fireworks you will ever see. 
I've seen several PGI public shows in various locations around the midwest since the late 1980s and I 
This year the PGI fireworks show is returning to the LaPorte, IN fairgrounds in northwest Indiana not far from the Chicago area. 
It will be on Friday night, 8/12 and probably won't be back again to LaPorte until around 2020.
