Hi To All,
I believe in promoting/protecting amateur radio & doing what I can to assist a brother/sister amateur radio op out whenever I can.
God only knows when I may need assistance w/something & want someelse to help me out.

I fielded a request from Duane Mantick <wb9omc at yahoo.com> to assist w/a QRM problem that the main repeater in Lafayette is having.

He explained the situation & asked me to spread the word, so I am doing what I can to help him out.

Unfortunately, Duane couldn't give me a call sign of the offending station & I asked him to please send me any/all info he can about the op ASAP.

I also told him that all we up here can do to help now is to listen on 147.735 w/a pl of 88.5C programmed into the receiver so that when the op keys up, hopefully someone will be able to get beamheadings & a call sign.

Down here in Lafayette, we have a repeater

I have yet to get a callsign on the guy (and I

We *think* it is Chicago area, which makes the most likely

My goal isn't to stomp on anybody, but just to try to
