  Dick -

I picked up a Yaesu FT7800R at Dayton this year and put it in my wife's car. I couldn't be more happier with it. It has a great receiver in it. It's a 2m/440 radio without the dual receive however. AES has them for 239.00 and it still comes with a free separation kit. Don't hold me to it but I think the 7800 is one of the least inexpensive dual band radios out there. I found it to be the best for my money. I'm a big fan of Yaesu radios.
