To All Kentucky Amateurs,


For those who have not heard, longtime Louisville Amateur Radio operator 
Whayne Wisner, K4JDI, 76, passed away Wednesday, July 1st at his home.

Whayne was a retired maintenance electrician, an Amateur Radio operator 
since the late 1940's, an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, and member 
of Summit Heights United Methodist Church, Aurora Masonic Lodge, and 
J-Walkers Square Dance Club.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Scott, Roger and Raymond Wisner.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Wisner; daughters, Vicki Whittinghill 
(Greg), Pamela Smith (Mark), and Sandra Brown (Michael); daughter-in-law, 
Robin Wisner; son, Jeffrey Wisner (Ingrid); 12 grandchildren; and 15 
great-grandchildren.

His funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown 
Road with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.
