Yes, But!

You can't get/renew your amateur plate via the web site. This stinks, hope
BMV will fix this.

I'm not sure what that additional $10.00 was for, but you pay $8.00 every
year for the amateur radio plate (on top of your normal fees). What I ran
into last year, however, was that I had always reserved my plate for the
following year when I picked up the current plate, then I picked up that
plate the following year....all at my local license branch. This last time,
however, I was told that I would have to wait for my plate to be sent to me
from Winchester, IN. In the mean time, I was given a temporary paper plate.
Well,.......I waited and waited for a month, and the amateur plate never
came in the mail. Checked with the license bureau and they said it had been
lost. So they sent in for a new one and I finally received it about six
weeks after I had originally tried to pick it up at the branch. I then
received a form to order the plate for the following year. For some
reason....they are not handling the amateur plates at the branches anymore.
I don't know why they messed with the process, which had always worked very
smoothly, but I guess they are trying to encourage doing the transaction on
the internet and shipping the plate to you via US Mail.

I have had my call for just under two years and have my first plate with

my call on it coming. I was charged eight dollars several months ago

when I reserved my plate an additional ten dollars when I paid this

year's fees - a total of eighteen dollars. My question is what will it

cost me each year from now on to renew?
