SUBJECT: LEE DUNN WB9QPA HEALTH/WELFARE

Numerous ITN members had been asking about
Lee on different occasions and wondered if
something else happened.

While visiting on the Army MARS HF net this
morning Mal / W9MAL revealed why Lee has 
been missing form the ITN again.

I did not write down all the details and
had hoped to catch the ITN initially this
morning but it was too late.

Lee has suffered another fall and this time 
he has a broken hip which was pinned and he 
is recovering but will probably be off the 
radio for a while.

I am  not certain on the location or 
facility where Lee is recovering. I am sure 
if you send a "get well" card to his home 
address he will appreciate the communication
from his amateur friends.

Better yet, as my long time friend WD9HII
often states...your QSL card can make a 
great get well card for a ham radio operator 
and I agree 100%. 

My close fellow hams had commented about
their stay at a hospital they loved the QSL
cards and often got comments from room mates
and friends alike asking about the unusual
"GET WELL" cards. 

I am certain all the recipients of this
INARRL BULLETIN have access to Lee's mailing
address...in the event you do not send me
