[ILQSO] ILQP thoughts, observations

Once again we enjoyed a wonderful ILQP Mobile experience running as KA9FZR
out of WI along the top two tiers of northern counties.  Our experience
this year is as reported:  20 was a house-a-fire and 40 was a bit Meh.   We
use the ILQP to refine our technique and try out new gear for our WIQP
efforts in the spring.  We have had wonderful experiences over the past 4
years.

My preparation for the ILQP included working in both the NYQP and the
PAQP.  Both of those showed significant activity on 20 meters until very
late afternoon and evening.  It just makes sense as that is how the bands
roll at this stage of the solar cycle.  Our limited ILQP time ends about
2100 UTC so we miss the early evening shift to the low bands.

We would love to find more stations on 40, but the QSO rate was much slower
than 20 meters, making the shift to that band a difficult choice.  We tried
to dedicate a portion of each county's travel time to 40, but there were a
couple (OOGL and BOON) that had pretty short distances.

It is a difficult choice to make on the fly between rate and mults.
Usually rate wins.
