[ILQSO] Ft8 contest

I suspect next year's rules will say something like, "FT8, or any mode that does not produce contact information conforming to ILQP rules, will receive no contact credit in scoring."  In other words, "knock yourself out, but I'm going to delete the contacts from your log...or something....."

I am all for banning FT8 etc from all contesting.  It's a DX mode. Even if the proper report could be entered in the FT8 contest mode, invariably many will be running standard mode and then someone has to jump through hoops to try and complete the contact.  Every time I tried doing it, it was a pain.

RTTY on the other hand is capable.  But I never worked anyone in a QSO party on RTTY.  I suspect that would be boring.
