Howdy!
We currently have received about 375 logs for ILQP, which is a bit ahead of
last year. There are at least a dozen potential (pending log checking)
county and state records in the hopper. At the first of the afternoon, I
thought, "Happy Days Are Here Again" due to apparent conditions on 20
meters, but they didn't last as long as we would have liked. Overall,
though, it was a pretty good day; and the weather could not have been any
better! When you consider the disaster that we would have had if we'd been
a week later....yikes!
If you've not sent a log, we still need it! Logs are "due" on November 16,
but the sooner we get them, the more we can do with them. Hand-written logs
are still accepted, but you take your chances with the transcription process
(me). If you used a logging program, please output the Cabrillo file, NOT
THE .ADI file. I'm still waiting for a couple of replacements that were
sent as .adi files.
I'm sending an updated "Logs Received" list to the webmaster for posting.
73, Jim N9JF
