The mobiles and rovers sometimes try to coordinate on certain frequencies so
we don't land on one another (especially) on 20 meters where we can't hear
one another. For example, one might try to land on the 37's , another on
the 39's, another on the 41's, etc. We have never done a "mobile window" as
has been attempted by some other parties.
On SSB, anything goes. Just try to find a clear spot (.....) and avoid
irritating anyone.
One frequent recommendation (and it's hard to remember) is, when, running a
pileup, take an occasional standby for mobiles and rovers calling (and DX).
They are probably going to be weak, are probably going to be a new
multiplier for you, and they won't call very many times before giving up and
moving on. Having said that, it's not easy to remember to do this in the
heat of battle.

SSB usually occupies the lower part of the General class part of the phone
band but extends both up and down the band as conditions and activity
warrants.
CW is usually from .025 to .060 from the bottom of the band.

Are there recommendations on what part of the bands to use?
