Dennis, that is a terrific spot!  You should have fun.  I may be within simplex range.  Hope lots get Jersey County out of this.  Be sure to spot yourselves on DXSummit and mention the park number (it's KFF1015) there and on W6RK.com.  You'll get quite a bit of action out of the parks chasers, especially if you can find somebody to also spend some time on CW.

8 Sept., the Antenna Builder's Guild will be at Pere Marquette State Park from 10am till whenever on 40m SSB. We will set up at the highest point of the park for the purposes of testing VHF/UHF and 2.3G signals. The Metropolis repeater 160 miles to the south comes in full scale from up there, so if you're interested in 2m/440 simplex, or seeing if we can hit your local repeater, please reply to this message with your repeater freq and p/l, and a time you will be on. 

We will be set up on Scenic drive. Halfway between Army Road and Mailbox Road. Pot luck lunch at 1130. 

146.52 is the talk in freq.
