Mel, we did add a suggestion for a CW mobile window this year, 40 to 45 KHz
above the bottom of the band.
>From http://www.w9awe.org/ILQP%202015%20Rules.pdf
"Fixed and portable stations are asked to avoid calling CQ or running
pileups in the frequency
range of 40 to 45 KHz above the lower CW band edge to allow mobile and rover
stations the
use of these frequencies with less interference."
Fixed stations, we please ask that you keep this window open. I know not all
will get the word, but we need to start somewhere. It is just another little
thing we can do to help our mobile ops out and will help the rest of us find
them easier too!
Thanks

Subject: Mobile windows?
Are there any frequency slots set aside for mobiles (the weak signals) to
call CQ? In the past, we had a sacred slot for CW, I think it was 040 to
045.... but no SSB window that I remember
Mobiles.... after you run stations on any band, take a quick look for other
IL stations calling CQ .... they might be other mobiles/rovers and could be
multipliers
