[ILQSO] Map Question

The ILQP has been fairly lenient on being exactly on the line, we want the
ops to be as close as safely possible, so if they can straddle the line,
that is great, but we don't want them doing that if it puts them or someone
else at risk. A 2 county line is pretty easy to straddle if you look for the
line, a 3 or 4 county corner is much tougher to be exactly in all 3 or 4 at
once. Many corners I have been to are in the middle of a road or a fencerow.

Subject: [ILQSO] Map Question

The county hunter club MARAC, designates the county sign as the line or
marker. You will find Delorme to be very accurate and will not agree with
the signs. Counties seem to put them in the most convenient place, not on
the exact line. I found one in WV over three hundred feet off. The ILQP
rules committee should have a handle on this one. I bet Jim N9JF has the
answer to this one....Tom N4RS
