Has anyone heard from the Springfield guys who sometimes cover Christian County?
There is no way I can get there as I won't be leaving Adams until probably at least 5:30 p.m. after my 4 p.m. meeting. If I'm running late, I'll skip Calhoun as W9WE will do a good job with that one so that I can be sure of Jersey and Greene. Madison or Macoupin would be a long-shot at the end but not likely.
Everyone enjoy the weather and the trees. Give the JOTA crowd plenty of room. Listen for weak mobiles (the only kind). Try not to lose your sanity coping with the PJ's and RTTY. Spot the mobiles at evey opportunity at http://ch.w6rk.com/. Have fun! 73, Jim N9JF

Although the latest map does not reflect it (but it will later) the counties that I have not heard of any planned activity yet are :
Du Page, Kendall, Grundy, Monroe, Christian, Richland, Lawrence, Edwards and Wabash.
There is a rover contemplating going to Monroe and maybe Edwards. I am hoping a fixed station or two will be on in Christian and surely someone will be on from Du Page, Kendall and Grundy, so we are getting very close to a chance of activating them all again. If you know of anyone in any of these unclaimed counties, please ask them to get on Sunday afternoon and hand out a few QSO'S.
