Thanks for including reference to the write-up on your mobile installation.  Some great ideas, and good pictures.  I think anyone contemplating mobile operation will benefit from some of your solutions.  The job was MUCH easier in my Ford F-150, where I have so much room that I did not have to remote the radio, easily included the microHam USB CW Keyer, and installed a RAM mount to hold the laptop for logging.  

Hope all goes well on your trip to Montana.  I just got back from 6500 miles out west a few weeks ago, and am now in Florida... where I will see if I can make a few QSO's next week in the OQP.
