[ILQSO] N1MM logger

I am sure several would be interested in ILQP specific software, so don't
quit on it all together. I know N9PCS was going to refine his Access module
a little more when things get back to normal for him.

I guess I don't consider CW sending a major flaw in a logging program, but I
am an admitted poor CW operator and probably would benefit from it more than
many. I figure my memory keyer does very well for the occasional CW contact
I make.

I wrote an ILQP logging program a few years back when we still had the mult
for working the same county 10 times. It worked well, and scored perfectly.
Used it one year, but quit working on it because I don't know how to make it
send CW. Guess I might have to start working on that.

I don't know of any logging program that scores ILQP correctly and almost
any logging program will show working the same station more than once on the
same band/mode a dupe unless you add /m or /p after the call. I also have
not found a logging program where this doesn't work.

The only logging program I have used that allows for this is Writelog and
our log checker says it is one of the worst to covert the output into Excel

Using Excel to log is very simple, but dupe checking is manual and it does
no scoring. A couple of years back, N9PCS created a Microsoft Access module
that seemed to work pretty well, but I never kept a copy of it. I know it
allowed for multiple counties on a single entry, but I am not sure if it
scored correctly or not.

Yeah, but where most loggers choke is if you have a county line/county line
contact, with let's say two 3-county stations, that counts as 9 points,
right? Well, the loggers are going to see 3 of those contacts as dupes, even
though they technically aren't.

The only way scott could fix the N3FJP logger was to disable part or all of
the dupe checking. So the logs work, but it still won't do the Cabrillo
properly.

Can't you log, e.g., KN9T/MSHL, KN9T/WOOD, and KN9T/STAR on as separate
entries? That's what one has to do with TrLog, and it's not a big deal.

Yeah I just remembered N1MM's inability to log more than 1 county at
once
for the portables/rovers. However, I will either have to deal with it
or
just whip something up in excel.

I like N3FJP's Software...his QSO Party logger works well. The only
'hitch', if you want to cal lit that, is if you are a county line/corner

station, working another county line/corner station. He did fix it so
you can log it, but you won't be able to write a Cabrillo file- you'll
have to export to Excel and send it that way. No prob for me- we'll only

be in one county this year anyway...
