And for out-of-state participants, even those who don't know about the contest,
there is a certain attraction of working a 1x1 call - it could be Midway (K4M),
Samoa (K8O), Kingman (K5K), Kure (K7C) [but probably won't be any of those
places]. Still, it generates interest, and that's what contests are all about.
